Michaele Salahi: Stalked, Threatened, Living in Fear

Former White House pest and Bravo reality star Michaele Salahi claims that someone's been stalking her and making death threats in recent weeks.
Her husband, Tareq Salahi, even placed a frantic 911 call for her protection.
Maybe the stalker just wanted to see Michaele Salahi in Playboy and is pissed that this is no longer in the cards? We kid. Although you never know.
An Awful Couple
The Salahis say that the threat-maker called the Sheriff's Dept. in Fauquier County, Va., falsely claiming Tareq broke into a winery co-owned by Tareq's family.
Deputies tell us they found no evidence of a break-in, but were called backwhen Tareq and Michaele found out the call came from the alleged stalker.
The Salahis filed a police report and the case is now under investigation. The couple is also seeking to have a protective order put into place ASAP.
According to the Salahis, the man has also been tailing Michaele, shooting photos and video and also sending death threats and obscene messages.

Haley Reinhart Goes Rolling in the Deep

Matching efforts by James Durbin, Casey Abrams or even Lauren Alaina was a tall order for Haley Reinhart, who chose to sing Adele's "Rolling the Deep."
While choosing such a current hit is always a risk (especially a hit sung by, you know, Adele), Haley did her best to do it justice, vocally and emotionally.
Jennifer said there were moments where she did it better than Adele. We're not going that far, because it was far from perfect. But she held her own.
Watch Haley Reinhart do her thing here and vote below ...

Casey Abrams Does Maroon 5, Kisses Jennifer Lopez

Casey Abrams' rendition of "Harder to Breathe" by Maroon 5 was alright last night. He's got a little funk to him, enough to do Adam Levine justice out there.
The vocals were mediocre at times, but give him credit for not holding back on the performance. He ended the song right in front of J. Lo - and kissed her.
Steven approves. "You did what I've been trying to do for two months!" he said.
Jennifer Lopez actually blushed, too. "I loved it," she says. "The performance!"
Did you? Watch it below and vote on how it ranked among last night's efforts:

Lauren Alaina: Born to Fly on American Idol

Lauren Alaina sometimes holds something back on stage. Not last night.
It's true that, in covering Sara Evans' hit "Born to Fly," she stayed close to the original version. But it's a great country song to stick close to the original of.
Will she spread her wings and truly fly to new heights this season on Idol? If this performance is any indication, she's still scratching the surface of her talent:

Uprising: James Durbin Muses on American Idol

Last night on American Idol, James Durbin covered Muse, conjuring up images of Adam Lambert a few seasons ago. Durbin's song choice: "Uprising."
"I haven't gotten to show that I can be contemporary," he said, hoping to escape the metal/hard rock label. Suffice it to say, it worked and then some.
He's sounded better in the past. But he probably hasn't looked better.
The drums, the spinning cameras, the flashing lights and, of course, James' natural feel for performing sent the crowd and judges into hysterics.
After praising his cover of the Matthew Bellamy-led band, Steven made a crack about Durbin's wardrobe, telling James to stay out of his closet.
You are probably looking at the man to beat on American Idol ...

Adam Lambert with Facial Hair: Love It or Hate It?

The Broadway musical Sister Act premiered last night, as celebrities gathered on the red carpet for a performance based on a movie of the same name.
But one singer stood out from among the other stars lined up for photographers. That's what happens when Adam Lambert rocks a mustache and goatee.
Accompanied by friend Sauli Koskinen, the former American Idol finalist looked quite comfortable with the whiskers. But should he have? Study the look below and sound off now.

Demi Lovato Admits: I Have Bipolar Disorder

Demi Lovato is continuing to open up about her recent stint in rehab and the basis for her stay there.
First, the singer/actress admitted she's battled an eating disorder for years, later adding that she's cut herself since the age of 11 and is leaving Sonny with a Chance to battle these demons.

Now, the 18-year is opening up again to the public, making an admission to People: "I never found out until I went into treatment that I was bipolar," she tells the magazine. "There were times when I was so manic, I was writing seven songs in one night and I'd be up until 5:30 in the morning."
Last week, Catherine Zeta-Jones sought professional help for the same disease, as Demi Tweeted her support of that star. She says she's taking positive steps in her life to turn things around.
"I feel like I am in control now where my whole life I wasn't in control... What's important for me now is to help others."

Rebecca Black Death Threats Lead to Police Probe

Playing Rebecca Black on repeat is enough to make you insane.
Still, some people take their animosity for the teen "singer" too far. Anaheim police are investigating two death threats made last month against Black.
The 13-year-old YouTube sensation whose "Friday" got her a legit manager and face time on many talk shows, apparently has enemies as well as fans.
Rebecca Black Picture
"In essence, the threats were related to getting the music off the Internet or they were going to kill her," police spokesman Sgt. Rick Martinez said.
"We can't validate how serious they are, but we do take it seriously."
One Rebecca Black death threat was phoned in and another emailed, Martinez said, adding, "In the meantime, we are keeping an eye out for her."
"We are working together with the Anaheim Police Department to ensure Rebecca's safety at all times," added the teen's rep. Yes, she has a rep.

Lindsay Lohan: Whacked From Gotti Biopic!

Lindsay Lohan can't catch a break these days.
Despite rumors that she landed a role that could help resurrect her career, she was just "fired" as Victoria Gotti in Gotti: Three Generations.
LiLo wasn't officially on board, but was rumored to be starring in the biopic about John Gotti and his days running the Gambino crime family.
Absolute Mess
Doesn't look like this door is still ajar for Lindsay, either.
"I promise you Lindsay Lohan is not playing Victoria Gotti," producer Mark Fiore told E! News today. "Talks have stopped and we are done."
Fiore emphasized again that "We have no discussions with her."
Ouch! Apparently, the troubled star's management pushed for an offer that the producers COULD refuse. Quite easily, as it turned out ...
Despite being more of a liability than an asset, Lohan's camp was pushing for a big payday. More than they were willing to offer, apparently.
Her departure comes a week after she turned up at a press conference in New York to plug the project alongside castmember John Travolta.
Real-life members of Gotti's family - including Victoria herself, who said Lindsay had the toughness required for the part - were also there.
Lohan's casting was never official (she acknowledged they had yet to agree to a contract), but it certainly looked like a strong possibility.
We should've known better after the Inferno debacle. It's Lindsay Lohan. Between the probation and everything else, it's just not worth it.

Happy 4/20 From THG's Top 10 Celebrity Stoners!

It's 4/20, baby. You know what that means, right? THG does.
Well, sort of. The origins of 420 are hotly debated, but no matter where the term came from, people associate it with smoking massive amounts of weed!
As such, the 20th day of April has become a de facto holiday.
With that in mind, The Hollywood Gossip salutes 10 famous individuals who have been known to puff the herb from time to time. Some even inhale ...

Bill Clinton: I Never Inhaled
10. Bill Clinton. As President of the United States, William Jefferson Clinton presided over the largest peacetime economic expansion in American history.
But boy, was he a terrible liar. The Lewinsky debacle was technically worse (what with perjury charges and all), but "I didn't inhale" was pretty legendary.
9. Jeff Bridges. He played The Dude! Enough said, really. But to further our argument for his inclusion, we suggest reading these Big Lebowski quotes.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Smoking a Joint
8. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Okay, so the only reason he's on this list is because of the above video. Watch it and you'll understand why pretty quickly.
7. Cheech & Chong. When your Wikipedia bio you're best known for routines "based on the hippie and free love era, and especially drug culture movements, most notably their love for cannabis," you're pretty much a lock for this list.

Zach Galifianakis Smokes Weed on Bill Maher
6a. Bill Maher and Zach Galifianakis. The latter truly blazed new trails on late-night TV Friday as he produced and lit a joint on HBO with the former.
6b. Woody Harrelson. Hippie loves the hemp. And we heeded your calls!

Seth Rogen & James Franco Smoke Weed at MTV Movie Awards
5. The entire cast of Pineapple Express. Classic weed films abound, but this Judd Apatow vehicle from the modern day stoner crew takes the cake.
We could debate for hours on end which alternate films could have been included here, but our brain cells are just too depleted to care at this point.
Besides, check out James Franco and Seth Rogen's classic MTV Movie Awards appearance. That's some serious dedication to the cause, people!
Drug User!!!!!!
4. Michael Phelps. After absolutely smoking the competition in the 2008 Summer Olympics, the swimming legend made waves for ... well, see above.
You could say that Phelps took the most expensive hit ever, considering he lost at least one major sponsorship based on it. See what we did there?!
3. Willie Nelson. On 4/30, Nelson will turn 78, or approximately how many times he lights up per week. Hey, at least he's up front about it, unlike #10 on our list. Dude co-chairs the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws!
Snoop Dogg on 4/20
2. Snoop Dogg. Let's be blunt. If anyone here would roll up summa dat dank ass sticky-icky-icky and hook you up with some bubonic chronic right freaking now, it'd be Snoop D-O-Double-G. SMOKE WEED EVERY DAY! (RIP Nate Dogg).

Miley Cyrus Bong Video
1. Miley Cyrus. Okay, we realize it's unfair that the girl who tops our list wasn't even smoking marijuana, but rather a legal drug known as salvia.
Nevertheless, "Miley Cyrus bong video" was the top search term on THG for weeks on end. Eat your Mary Jane-loving hearts out, Snoop and Willie.

Tim Hetherington, Restrepo Director, Killed in Libya

Documentary filmmaker Tim Hetherington, a 2011 Oscar nominee who directed the acclaimed Afghanistan war film Restrepo, was killed today in Libya.
The veteran correspondent was only 41 years old.
Hetherington died in the Libyan city of Misurat Three photographers working in alongside him chronicling the Libyan civil conflict, were also injured.
One, Chris Hondros, reportedly suffered a critical brain wound. Guy Martin, who was with Hondros and Hetherington, is said to be in "grave" condition.

The British-born Hetherington found great critical success with Restrepo, which he co-directed alongside frequent journalist collaborator Sebastian Junger.
The Oscar-nominated film followed American soldiers in Afghanistan's deadly Korengal Valley, known as the deadliest valley in the war zone.
The film was widely critically praised and took the Grand Jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010. It earned an Oscar nomination for best documentary.
While details are still emerging as to exactly what happened, Reuters reported that Hetherington and his group were attacked by fatal mortar fire.

"Sad news Tim Hetherington died in Misrata now when covering the front line. Chris Hondros is in a serious status," wrote fellow photographer and close, longtime Hetherington friend André Liohn on Facebook page.
Just hours earlier, Hetherington had personally posted what turned out to be his final, foreboding Twitter message: "In besieged Libyan city of Misrata. Indiscriminate shelling by Qaddafi forces. No sign of NATO."
Our thoughts go out to his family and friends and to all the victims of uprisings throughout the world. We can only hope for a peaceful resolution, and soon.

Brooke Mueller: Rehab By Day, Mom By Night!

It's not exactly conventional, but Brooke Mueller's arrangement - drug rehab during the day and taking care of her kids at night - does the job.
At least a judge felt that way when denying Charlie Sheen's bid for full custody of their children and leaving their custody agreement in place.
The custody judge ruled she's still able to take care of her twins per the deal struck with Sheen - with help from an army of nannies, of course.
Brooke Goes Public
The judge did make one change in the agreement. Both Brooke and Charlie must submit to random drug testing weekly, more frequently than before.
Also factoring into the decision not to award full custody to Sheen? The fact that we're talking about Charlie Sheen here. Brooke has a lot of leeway.
Judge Hank Goldberg was well aware Brooke had relapsed, but was equally disturbed by Charlie's drug abuse and the fact that he brags about it.
Goldberg also felt Charlie's parenting skills - or lack thereof - did not warrant a change. Brooke's lawyers raised issues of domestic violence, too.
From what we can tell, no new allegations were made against the actor, although you don't have to look too far back in order to find some.

JWoww Accused of Attacking Tom Lippolis With Knife, Fireplace Poker in Drunken Fight

Tom Lippolis is doing everything he can to tarnish JWoww's reputation.
First, he relentlessly tried to hawk pics of JWoww nude, only to be turned aside by a court order. Now he's accusing the Jersey Shore star of attacking him.
Not a kind of standard, run-of-the-mill attack like when she beats down Sammi in Seaside Heights, either. He's talking drunken knife-fight style!
Thomas Lippolis and JWoww
Tom alleges that on March 6, 2010, J-Woww got furious at him for taking a picture with a girl, and the argument escalated quickly and violently.
“Jenni was screaming really hateful remarks,” he says. “She told me, ‘You’re a jerk and you’re an a**hole!’ We were screaming at each other.”
From there, Tom says that JWoww - who's now dating Roger Williams - grabbed a “short steak knife,” and she STABBED him in the arm!
“My wounds resembled something out of one of those surgery TV shows - muscle completely cut and just hanging out of my skin,” he says.
He alleges that after he cleaned himself up, he ran into JWoww once more, only to have the large-breasted one come after him again!
“Jenni was holding the knife, with blood dripping off of it, in one hand and swinging a fireplace poker at me with the other," he recalls.
"I still have a hole in my elbow from where she impaled me.”
Tom says when he returned from the hospital, J-Woww didn’t even apologize. As for why he didn't call the cops after this alleged attack?
“She basically told me that I made her do it," he claims. "I should've gone to the police, but I wanted to guard her for some odd reason."
"I didn’t want to get her in trouble.”
Anybody believe Tom Lippolis' claims?
Don't get us wrong, JWoww coming at him with a red hot poker is something we can picture, but it seems far-fetched that it really happened.
