Matthew Bellamy: How He Won Kate Hudson's Heart

When the story first broke about Matthew Bellamy getting Kate Hudson pregnant, many people did not know who he was, or that they were even together.

Now, Hudson herself has opened up about their love story, including sharing how they met and offering a peek into what led to a surprise pregnancy.

"You always hear people say, 'I never thought this would be the person I would end up with,' but I don't think you ever really know," the star says.

Of the musician (he's Muse's frontman), she says, "I love that Matthew knows how to express himself. He shows his love. He communicates."

She was watching Radiohead's Thom Yorke - also a rumored boyfriend of hers back in the day - with a guy from high school when they met.

"We realized that we had met a few years earlier, in Australia. Then I got distracted and said, 'I've got to find my friends; I don't know where they went.' He just looked at me and said, 'Come on, I'll take care of you.'"

"That's when I went, 'Wait a minute, who are you?'"

Bellamy eventually asked Hudson for her number, and the rest, as they say, is history. But what kept her so interested in those early days?

"Matthew was polite and immediately protective, which for somebody like me who's all over the place – one minute I'm over here and the next I'm over there – is important." Plus, she adds, "He is just an amazing person."

That said, Hudson didn't feel he was "the one."

"In the beginning I felt like, okay, this is going to be heavy. Am I prepared for this? Because it had been a while, and I wasn't looking for that," she says.

"But I just couldn't stay away. I wanted to talk to him and be with him all the time. On our first dates we would take long walks and talk the entire day."

Soon enough they were in love – and, says Hudson, pregnancy seemed a natural progression, even though it wasn't exactly what you'd call planned.

"Well, it wasn't like we didn't know what we were doing," says Husdon. "There were no ovulation kits involved. We were tempting fate, and it worked."

Hudson, who has a 7-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson: "I didn't think I was going to have another kid until I was maybe 33."

"That was in the back of my mind before I met Matthew. But we were so in love when it happened, it was just so exciting for both of us."

Report: Emma Roberts, Chord Overstreet Hook Up!

Hookup alert! Scream 4 star Emma Roberts and Glee star Chord Overstreet looked like quite the couple at Coachella on Saturday, Us reports.
The made out, a witness says, and "couldn't keep their hands off each other!"
Roberts once dated bad boy Alex Pettyfer, 21; Overstreet has been linked to Taylor Swift, 21, and Glee costar Naya Rivera, 24, in the past.

Oh, and as the party neared its end, Roberts and Overstreet were just getting started. "They were talking about heading to a hotel pool!" a source says.
Things cooled things down the next day at Coachella: "She was leaning into him," a witness reports, "but he seemed way more interested in his food."

Are Gossip Girl co-stars, childhood friends and former lovebirds Blake Lively and Penn Badgely back together after their unexpected breakup?
The adorable pair split last year after three years together, but it seems as though working closely together has rekindled this old flame.
According to celebrity gossip stalwart Perez Hilton, the gorgeous former couple were spotted “holding hands” at Coachella last weekend.
Blake has been linked to Ryan Gosling since splitting with Penn, but there was nothing serious about those rumors. So we'll see ...

Vienna Girardi and Kasey Kahl Form the Douchiest Couple Ever

Vienna Girardi and Kasey Kahl from The Bachelor and Bachelorette are now an item, forming a veritable douchepocalypse of reality TV star annoyance.

The ex-fiancee of Jake Pavelka had reservations about getting close to anyone after being engaged to that stiff for a few weeks. But she's made it work.

"Even opening up to Kasey, like, we were dating for a few months, but I didn't want to go public because I wanted to make sure it was real," she said.

We're finding it hard to guard and protect the contents of our stomachs when we see these two Bachelor franchise castoffs getting lovey dovey with each other.

Vienna says she is "absolutely scared of the possibility of getting engaged again," but luckily, Kasey Kahl is putting her at ease all day every day.

Kasey, who fought for Ali's heart on The Bachelorette, is genuinely a nice, caring, loving person, even when cameras are off," Vienna Girardi says.

"That's what makes all the difference."

"When we're at home eating dinner or watching a movie, he's that sweet charming guy that he is when we're out in public. I want someone who is going to love me unconditionally, all day every day – not just when other people are seeing it."

That hurts, Jake. But Kahl was equally hesitant about dating her, too.

"I told myself I'd never date someone from the Bachelor franchise, but I met her, and everything went out the window," he says. "She's amazing."

"No matter what we've gone through, and no matter what she's gone through, I'm here now, and I will make sure she's the happiest girl ever."

Paul McDonald Confirms Relationship with Nikki Reed

Paul McDonald will be okay.
Yes, the funky singer got eliminated from American Idol this week. But the aspiring artist has confirmed that he has a famous, beautiful woman to go home to each night. Yes, he really is dating Nikki Reed.
"[She's] supercool," McDonald told Us Weekly of the Twilight star. "She's been real supportive of this whole thing. She's actually pumped up now because she likes my original material way better than all the stuff I do on the show."

Paul says he and Nikki are "officially dating," but "don't get to see each other too much because [we're] both working so hard."

Is there another Idol/Twilight love connection? Is Lauren Alaina getting it on with Taylor Lautner, as some sources have reported? McDonald has no clue.

"I don't know. I think he's just a fan of Idol in general. He seems like a really cool dude. I don't know too much about that."

Carrie Underwood on Marriage: A Challenge!

The famously private Carrie Underwood opens up about her marriage to NHL player Mike Fisher in the new issue of Us. Not sure how they got her to agree to that.
Perhaps to clear the air about their marriage being on the rocks? It's been reported several times, and while she says it's not true, maybe the rumor got to her.

After nine months as long-distance newlyweds, Fisher was traded from Ottawa to Nashville in February. Carrie Underwood has been giddy ever since.
"It was like, he's coming to live with me! I can go to work, he can go to work, and we can both come home, and we'll be together," she gushed to Us.
But rooming together in her gated Brentwood, Tennessee, development, though joyous, has led to some growing pains and difficulties as well.

Prince William, Kate Middleton Make Final Public Appearance Before Royal Wedding

Earlier today, Prince William and Kate Middleton braved the rain in England to make their final public appearances as a couple before their wedding.
Greeted by well-wishers in the streets of Darwen in Lancashire, they were on hand to mark the opening of the Darwen Aldridge Community Academy.
William and his future wife smiled and waved to the crowd:

William is scheduled to officially open the school, where he will launch the SkillForce Prince's Award and address the students, parents, governors and staff.

While there, Kate Middleton and Prince William will observe a series of sporting events and meet with a group of athletes and coaches at the venue.
The Prince is patron of the Queen Elizabeth II Fields Challenge, an initiative which protects 2,012 outdoor recreational spaces across the U.K.

Audrina Patridge: Dating Nic Roldan?

New couple alert? Audrina Patridge and Nic Roldan, a polo star who helped teach her a lesson in a contrived episode of her new reality show, have grown close.
At least according to People, which reports that they recently shared a romantic trip to the Presidente Intercontinental Resort & Spa in Cozumel, Mexico.
"They walked along the beach holding hands and had some wonderful dinners," a source says. "Nic likes her because she is a casual surfer girl, she is his type."
According to Corey Bohan, that "type" is ... well, not good. To put it mildly. But here's hoping the former Hills star and her rumored new lover are happy.

Paul McDonald was not voted off American Idol this week (did you see who was?!?). But the season 10 finalist has another reason to be excited these days, according to E! News sources:
He's dating Twilight Saga star Nikki Reed.

The pair first met at the premiere for Red Riding Hood (where McDonald is actually caught on camera, admitting he doesn't know who Reed is) and have been "hanging out" ever since.
The actress has been off filming Breaking Dawn in Vancouver, while McDonald is busy in Hollywood these days, but an insider says they keep in touch via Skype. And this could give McDonald a huge Idol advantage.
Can you imagine if all Twihards give him their vote?!? Season. Over.

"It was their first time going out," a source tells Us Weekly of Swift's April 1 evening out in Nashville with the Tron: Legacy and Country Strong star.
"They've been emailing for a while, and she hinted they should get together."

Sources say that despite an obviously strong connection, Taylor is taking things slowly after a fast-track romance and breakup with Jake Gyllenhaal last fall.
Speaking of Jake, he's been spotted out with 90210 star Jessica Lowndes. Yeah, the chick stuck playing Adrianna on the CW's mediocre remake of the hit.

Are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on a Break?

Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon presented Sunday night at the Academy of Country Music Awards and looked adorable while doing it.
But is there an ugly story behind this event? According to Great Britain's The Daily Mirror, Kristen Stewart was originally scheduled to accompany Robert to the ceremony. However, she did not show up because the couple is "on a break."

While Stewart, Pattinson and the Twilight Saga cast are filming Breaking Dawn in Vancouver, Rob is often away from set in order to promote Water for Elephants. Their lack of time together has caused a rift, an insider claims:

“The excuses why they couldn’t meet up basically got weaker and weaker, and Rob figured they should officially cool things off and have some time to figure out what they each want.

"There have been a few tears but the pair remain friendly. Kristen is hopeful of a reconciliation once Rob has finished promotion for his latest movie. But as things stand, they’re on a break and just mates.”

Then again, the couple was spotted together on a date just a few weeks ago. So we'll leave it up to readers whether or not they wish to believe this latest rumor.
