Robert Pattinson: On the Today Show, Team Jacob

Robert Pattinson hasn't been shy in admitting he is so over Twilight, but we never expected the British actor to even consider joining Team Jacob.
We're kidding. Rob's character in Water for Elephants is named Jacob, though. Pretty funny, although he says he never realized the coincidence.
Another strange thing he never thought about? Playing Reese Witherspoon's son in a movie role back in 2004, then playing her love interest now!

As always, watching Robert's talk with Matt Lauer reminds us why he is one of our favorite stars, a smart and laid-back dude with a no-fuss attitude.
Even when it comes to clowns dying at the circus or gross sex scenes with Reese Witherspoon, you can't faze this seasoned Hollywood veteran.

Robert Pattinson Gets Waxed

Robert Pattinson is so handsome, even a creepy wax replica of the man is going to be an attractive sight. You have to admit, it's a pretty convincing likeness.
The wax figure of Rob at Madame Tussaud's Berlin museum features his signature smirk and tousled hair, which the real Rob happened to be sporting in NYC.

Reese Witherspoon on Robert Pattinson Sex Scene: EWWWW! R

Reese Witherspoon finds Robert Pattinson "amazing and wonderful." Then why was the actress disgusted by a sex scene between the pair while shooting Water for Elephants?
We'll let her explain...

"Rob possibly had the most hideous horrible cold of any co-star I’ve ever had to do a love scene with ever in my entire life,” Witherspoon told In Touch Weekly. “He was literally snorting and snotting through every second of it... I’m talking green, infectious, disgusting. I’m not kidding!” 

Oh well. At least we know the sex scene between Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in Breaking Dawn is nothing but H-A-W-T.

So much for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart taking a break.
Their days on the set of Breaking Dawn may be coming to an end now that the film is nearing the end of production, but the two are closer than ever in real life.
Case in point? The “promise ring” Rob just offered his lady love!
“The ring is rose-cut diamonds set in rose gold,” says a friend of the rock, which reportedly set him back $17K. “It’s a very feminine piece of jewelry. Very old.”

The one thing we don't buy about this story? Kristen Stewart is kind of a tomboy. It's hard to imagine her wearing diamonds (even from Robert Pattinson).
Still, sources say he's ready, willing and able to take it to the next level!
“Rob is more mature than Kristen and and he’s ready to settle down,” says an insider. So is marriage next for one of Hollywood's hottest young couples?

Robert Pattinson, Twilight Cast to Kristen Stewart: Happy Birthday!

So much for that rumored break.
Just days after Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart supposedly split, the actor led the cast of Twilight in a 21st birthday celebration for his girlfriend on Saturday night.
Sources tell Us Weekly a private party was held at Rockwell's Bar & Grill in Vancouver, as "Rob led the crowd singing" for Kristen, the insider says, adding: "You could tell she was so embarrassed but in a cute way."

Stewart received a motorcycle as a gift and an onlooker makes it clear she and Pattinson are as hot and as heavy as ever:

"Rob and Kristin were together all night. They held hands and he kissed her cheek a bunch of times."

Breaking Dawn will be finished filming within a few weeks. But expect to see these two together a lot over the next few months, as they promote the film's November release.

Robert Pattinson: Don't Call Me Brooding!

Robert Pattinson is many things. Handsome. Talented. Friendly. Humble.

But there's one description the Twilight Saga star tells the latest issue of ELLE he's sick of hearing: "I never got the “brooding” thing. I’ve had about enough of that."

In that case, how would the actor classify himself? Not in glowing terms, according to the interview. He says:

"When you’re confronted with yourself too much, you start to think, Jesus Christ, you’re so fucking boring. And the more you think you’re boring, the more you become boring. I talk about myself too much now."

Robert can think of one way in which he'll never be referred to as "brooding" or "boring," however - and it involved his fists and a member of the paparazzi. Seemingly only half-joking, he told the publication he'd love to change his image in the following way:

"When the whole thing dries up and there’s hardly any paparazzi around - I don’t know, in 15 years or something - I like the idea of just one paparazzo coming out and trying to get a picture, and I just beat the shit out of him... out of nowhere - when my picture’s not even worth... and I’ve spent all my money, so you can’t sue me!"

Are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on a Break?

Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon presented Sunday night at the Academy of Country Music Awards and looked adorable while doing it.
But is there an ugly story behind this event? According to Great Britain's The Daily Mirror, Kristen Stewart was originally scheduled to accompany Robert to the ceremony. However, she did not show up because the couple is "on a break."

While Stewart, Pattinson and the Twilight Saga cast are filming Breaking Dawn in Vancouver, Rob is often away from set in order to promote Water for Elephants. Their lack of time together has caused a rift, an insider claims:

“The excuses why they couldn’t meet up basically got weaker and weaker, and Rob figured they should officially cool things off and have some time to figure out what they each want.

"There have been a few tears but the pair remain friendly. Kristen is hopeful of a reconciliation once Rob has finished promotion for his latest movie. But as things stand, they’re on a break and just mates.”

Then again, the couple was spotted together on a date just a few weeks ago. So we'll leave it up to readers whether or not they wish to believe this latest rumor.

Reese Witherspoon made her first appearance since marrying Jim Toth at Sunday's Academy of Country Music Awards, and the newlywed looked amazing.
Oh yeah, and Robert Pattinson was there too.
The Water for Elephants co-stars presented the female vocalist award at the event, while musing about the film they just shot in her native Tennessee. "I liked drinking a lot of moonshine," joked Rob. Check out their banter here:

Miranda Lambert won the award the two were on hand to present. She, Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum all racked up big wins at the annual event.
Earlier that day, the duo were in Santa Monica, Calif., doing another press event for the period piece about a romance sparked on a traveling circus.
Speaking of a circus, how about the scandalous leak of these Breaking Dawn sex pics and the uproar it caused from the film's producers? Yowza.
