Sophie Cranston: Kate Middleton Wedding Dress Designer?

One of many burning Royal Wedding questions ever since Kate Middleton and Prince William got engaged has been who will design the bride's dress.
Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood have been rumored, but their modern aesthetics may not be appropriate for the regal, April 29 affair.
Now, several news outlets are reporting that Kate Middleton has settled upon Sophie Cranston, a 34-year-old who previously worked for McQueen.

Sophie worked with the late fashion icon before branching out with her own Libélula studio. You can see some of Cranston's wedding dress designs here.
Interest in her work has been so great in the 24 hours since this rumor surfaced that the Libélula website crashed, according to the label's press contact.
Visitors are now greeted with a message that reads: Due to our recent press coverage the site has received overwhelming traffic, causing technical issues.
True or not, the bride should look stunning 10 days from now. Whether or not she and Wills enter with this Royal Wedding Dance, however, is uncertain.

Jessica Simpson Sets Up Prenup, "Bonus Plan" For Eric Johnson Before Wedding

It's good to be Mr. Jessica Simpson, but not THAT good.
Don't get us wrong. Eric Johnson, who will wed the singer/designer this year, worked out a prenup that guarantees him some cash, and he gets to put it to Jessica Simpson in the meantime, so he's living well. Just not THAT well.
According to sources, Jessica's billion dollar brand is being closely guarded, and Eric's compensation if they ever split up will work out as such:

BIG WINNER: Eric has some serious assets now. Look at those.

"Eric is on what you might call a vesting plan," said an insider.
"He'll get $500,000 as a wedding present. Then, each anniversary, he'll get another $200,000. If he and Jessica make it to five years, he'll get an additional incentive $500,000 bonus - and a $1 million bonus if they make it to 10 years."
On second thought, he's doing DAMN well. Of course, if he's gonna be married to her 10 years, he'll probably stay married to her, so it's moot.
You have to wonder, though, what Jessica is really protecting here. Is she guarding her own fortune, or essentially paying him to stay married?

T-Mobile has released a Royal Wedding entrance dance video starring a faux Prince William, Kate Middleton, Queen Elizabeth, Camilla, Prince Charles et al.
William and Kate don't wed for another 11 days, and will likely enter more formally, but these lookalikes have already danced their way into our hearts.

Just 12 days to go.
Set to marry Prince William in front of pretty much the whole world on April 29, Kate Middleton took part in her first rehearsal at London's Westminster Abbey.
A Clarence House spokesman confirms that a royal wedding rehearsal took place at the famed cathedral on Friday, with the lovely bride-to-be on hand.

Prince Harry, Kate's sister (and maid of honor) Pippa Middleton and her bridesmaids were there. William was tending to his Royal Air Force duties.
"We can confirm that Catherine Middleton and Prince Harry took part in a rehearsal at Westminster Abbey this morning," the rep confirmed Friday.
Exciting stuff. Meanwhile, a schedule of events for the big day was released:
8:15 - 9:45 a.m.: Guests arrive at Westminister Abbey
9:50 a.m.: Governors, General and Prime Ministers of Realm Countries, the Diplomatic Corps and other distinguished guests arrive at the Abbey
10:10 a.m.: Prince William, 28, and his Man of Honor Prince Harry, 26, leave Clarence House; they arrive at the Abbey at 10:15 a.m.
10:20 a.m.: Members of foreign royal families arrive at Westminister Abbey

Hugh Hefner-Crystal Harris Wedding: Uncoventional!

Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris are not exactly your typical couple.
Their June wedding will reflect their unorthodox nature accordingly.
"The dress is not going to be white," Harris says. "I love pink! So, the dress will be pink and Hef and I want the wedding to be a lot of different colors."
At least they're on the same page, too. Plans are going smoothly!

"It's pretty great that we haven't argued about anything yet," the 24-year-old says. "Things that I feel strongly about, he's okay with, and things that he feels strongly about, I'm okay with doing things his way, so it works out."
The Playboy founder, 84, is in charge of the cake (strawberry) and music.
"Hef's friend Ray Anthony, he has a band," Harris says, "so we're going to have a big band and then we're going to have a deejay at the end of the evening."
Hefner's brother Keith, 82, will serve as his best man, with Hefner's two youngest sons, twins Marston and Cooper, 20, serving as groomsmen. Pretty cool.
What won't be involved? A prenup. Or Jordan McGraw, we're guessing.

Kim Kardashian Hypes Hypothetical Wedding

Contrary to what the following magazine cover states, Kim Kardashian is not marrying Kris Humphries this year.

But the reality star is doing what she does best in an interview with Life & Style: talking about her personal life in hypothetical, vague terms in order to make headlines for no valid reason whatsoever.

The latest case in point: her eventual wedding to... somebody.

"I've envisioned the whole thing," Kim says. "I already know what my gown is going to look like. I've thought about it all for so long... What woman hasn't thought about her wedding since she was a little girl?"

Very few. But not many would land a tabloid cover story just for fantasizing about such an event.

A friend tells the publication that Kardashian wants to talk down the aisle in "a white strapless floor-length gown" designed by Chanel. She also wants a "big diamond ring." Shocking, we know.

Meanwhile, aside from nuptials, Kim is dreaming of a family. She says: "I think I'll name my kids with K's to keep the tradition going... I want.. three to five kids!"

God help each and every one of them.

Jamie Campbell-Bower and Bonnie Wright: Engaged!

The Twilight Sage and the Harry Potter franchise have done more than entertain millions around the world.
They have helped Jamie Campbell Bower and find true love!

E! News was the first to confirm that Campbell-Bower, who portray a Volturi member and also stars on Camelot, and Wright - best known as Ginny Weasely on the big screen - are engaged.

"I'm very happy," said the actor of the development. "It's a wonderful, wonderful time."

The couple started dating in 2009 and we couldn't be happier for them.

Holly Madison Won't Attend Hugh Hefner-Crystal Harris Wedding

The guest list at Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris' wedding is mostly set.
Holly Madison? Not on it.
"I think Holly [Madison] has expressed publicly that it would be a little strange if she was there and I respect that," the Playboy founder said Saturday.
Madison had hoped to marry Hefner but eventually moved on and relocated to Las Vegas. Hefner, 85, moved on and got engaged to Crystal Harris, 24.

The feud between Madison and Harris has been well documented.

The former Girls Next Door star and Hef's #1 girlfriend has slammed her replacement and even questioned Crystal's motives for marrying him.
We can't imagine what she has to say about the couple's reported lack of pre-nup. As for other gals who used to parade around Hef's place nude?
Despite Kendra Wilkinson's claims that she hasn't received a "Save The Date," Hef said. "She knows she's invited. The invitations haven't gone out."
"I never expected to get married again," he added. "But I can't see myself with anybody else, and I just want to give that kind of statement."
"I think Crystal deserves it. I love happy endings."
So does she. Happy endings with so many zeroes.

Ben Roethlisberger to Marry Ashley Harlan on July 23

It's still unclear why Ashley Harlan is marrying Ben Roethlisberger. But one thing is now known to all: the couple's wedding date. The couple will get hitched on July 23.

"It's just an engagement," the quarterback told The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in hisfirst interview on the topic. "I never expected it to be on the front pages of all the papers and websites. There was speculation what our invitations would look like and who is coming! It almost seemed surreal, it was like a movie or something, it was weird."

Also weird, to some? Why anyone would marry the Steelers star after multiple accusations of sexual assault.

But over 500 guests are expected to attend and Ben is serious about a no-present policy. He intends to donate any gifts to Ronald McDonald House and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.

Roethlisberger and Harlan have dated on and off for five years. He's aware of many comments people have on the nuptials.

"People will always have opinions of everybody and me, and that's fine, they're entitled," Ben says. "But people who know her, know me, know us... I'm in a happy place, but a lot of that has to do with her, too.

"People can say that it is whatever, but people who know and can see and are around us and know me, know that it's something special when you find that person, and I'm extremely lucky."

Is Britney Spears ready to become a bride once more?
As she enjoys mammoth sales and the strongest reviews of her career for seventh studio album Femme Fatale, will she settle down for good with Jason Trawick?

Not a glowing quote, but she adds: "We have such a great time together! He makes me laugh, and are so comfortable being ourselves. I've never been happier!"

She may not be engaged yet, but don't count it out!

A family source says that the blissful pair will likely wed down the road, as Jason Trawick "was one of the only people who stuck by her through everything."
In 2007 and early 2008, Spears lost custody of her sons Sean, 5, and Jayden, 4, to ex Kevin Federline, and was briefly admitted to a psychiatric hospital.
Trawick, then her agent and now her boyfriend of two years, never wavered.
"[Jason] was someone she felt she could be her true self with. [Marriage] is what they talk about and the direction they're going in," the insider says.
Spears, who just released her new "Till The World Ends" video, does look so much healthier these days, don't you think? We're glad she's happy.

She received death threats Wright is engaged to Lauren Blitzer, her rep confirms. when she first came out, but now it's all worth it for country singer Chely Wright. That's because she's found the love of her life.
"Out country singer Chely Wright and her fiancée, Lauren Blitzer, a GLBT Civil Rights activist have set a date and plan to be married in Connecticut Aug. 20," reads a statement. "They met through their youth advocacy work, and say that their passion for Scrabble holds them together."

Sounds like a triple word score - of happiness! - to us.

Says Wright to People: "The freedom of being out and open about who I am allowed me to find and fall in love with Lauren, the most amazing woman I've ever known."

We wish this couple nothing but the best.

Alexandra Lenas has officially changed Sean Parker's relationship status.
Parker, the co-founder of Napster and the founding president of Facebook portrayed by Justin Timberlake in The Social Network, is engaged, according to his rep.
He recently popped the question to Lenas, a New York-based singer/songwriter. Here's a photo of them from the Oscars earlier this winter. Congratulations!

Hugh Hefner on Crystal Harris Prenup: Who Needs It?

Hugh Hefner has no intention of making loving, caring fiancee Crystal Harris sign a prenuptial agreement, according to reports. And seriously, why would he?
She's only 60 years younger than he and he only has like $43 million.
Sources close to Hugh and Crystal Harris say neither has even uttered the word "prenup" at any point in their courtship. The wedding is 10 weeks away.

What could go wrong?

There have already been concerns raised by his other exes and even rumors of Crystal cheating with Jordan McGraw. But Hugh's just not going there.
Hef, who has been married twice before, hasn't raised a prenup convo because he "actually cares about Crystal" and doesn't want to ask her to sign one.
Airtight reasoning right there.
Crystal doesn't believe that Hef will bring it up before they tie the knot and, rather stunningly, doesn't intent to raise the issue herself. So it totally works out.
