Rebecca Black Death Threats Lead to Police Probe

Playing Rebecca Black on repeat is enough to make you insane.
Still, some people take their animosity for the teen "singer" too far. Anaheim police are investigating two death threats made last month against Black.
The 13-year-old YouTube sensation whose "Friday" got her a legit manager and face time on many talk shows, apparently has enemies as well as fans.

"In essence, the threats were related to getting the music off the Internet or they were going to kill her," police spokesman Sgt. Rick Martinez said.
"We can't validate how serious they are, but we do take it seriously."
One Rebecca Black death threat was phoned in and another emailed, Martinez said, adding, "In the meantime, we are keeping an eye out for her."
"We are working together with the Anaheim Police Department to ensure Rebecca's safety at all times," added the teen's rep. Yes, she has a rep.

Rebecca Black, "Friday" to Get the Glee Treatment!

In the music world, being covered by Glee is a sign that you've made it and a true honor. Unless you're Dave Grohl or Kings of Leon, but that's another story.
The Fox hit's latest adaptation may be a major shark-jumper, though.
Rebecca Black’s “Friday,” which just surpassed 100 million views on YouTube due to the fact that it's the worst song ever, is getting the Glee treatment.

The song will appear an upcoming episode that centers around prom, and will either be sung by Kevin McHale, Chord Overstreet and Mark Salling, or by Salling and returning guest star Jonathan Groff, reprising his role as Jesse St. James.
Seriously, this is happening.

If we were going chronologically, Rebecca Black should be the next Jenna Rose, since this video came out months before Black became a household name.
Fate can be a cruel thing, though.
Rose's debut single, "My Jeans," was actually released in October, but will now be considered by many to be a Rebecca Black knockoff, and a bad one at that.

Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Taylor Hicks Cover "Friday"

Justin Bieber has sampled it.
Nick Jonas has sang a few lyrics in concert.
But no one has paid tribute to Rebecca Black's "Friday" quite like Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon. The talk show hosts, who have agreed to be best friends for six months, collaborated on the track during Fallon's show last night.
The performance (which included The Roots and Taylor Hicks) came after Colbert accepted Fallon's challenge to cover the YouTube smash if Fallon's audience came up with $26,000 to give to DonorsChoose.Org. Both sides came through with their ends of the deal, leading to the following hilarity:
